Can't remember who was asking about a double disc factory clutch but I found this article on it if anyone is interested.

It says that the dual-disc set up used a 14"-24.5 lb. flywheel.
Does a 14" flywheel fit in the 403 bell housing? or Did the the dual disc set up go into a 621 bellhousing in a Z28 with the dual option? or is there not enough documentation to even know?

You're right it does say 14" flywheel. I'm not sure about the bellhousing? Jim |

ReBuilt the engine in a 1971 Corvette Documented LT1 car about 10 years ago, and it also had the dual disc clutch. It used the small dia flywheel and small bellhousing. I can not honestly say if the bellhousing casting number was 403, but i do remember that it had the small dia flywheel. Hope this helps.
