Guys I have an 8.5'' housing out of a 73 Nova that is the same width and the same axle length as the 68 Camaro, what I would like to know is what other cars that have the same axle length as the 73 Nova housing and what years that would fit, such as the Buick Appolo or possible the Novas up to what years. Thanks Camaro BOB

All of the rear wheel drive Novas (and other GM clones) from '68 and up have a 60 inch wide rear end. Some of them have the 8.2 10 bolt, some have the 8.5 10 bolt, some have the 7.5 10 bolt and some have the 12 bolt.

I only stated the 72-74 due to the 8.5" 10bolt.

The 8.5 was still used up to the end of the rear wheel drive Nova, but not all of them had it. Many of the 6 cylinder cars had the 7.5 starting around '76.

Same here. I can find them sometimes sitting behind an old garage or in a field. Most of the junk yards only have late model stuff.
