has anyone had any experiance with a Hughes converter before? if so, what are your feelings towards them? i am looking at a 2400 stall speed for my powerglide. the stock one doesnt hack it with the 288 cam. [img]graemlins/beers.gif[/img]

I've personally never had one. But I do know a few guy's that run them. They have no problems with them at all. The converters these guy's are running range from 3200 to 4500.

Hughes are no problem, good brand.

But, being as you are closer to Georgia, take a look at Georgia Convertor.
