For hooking up my 2004r in my 67, I need the four prong cruise control switch to replace my two prong brake light switch. Is this a GM part only? I will need the part number if it is, or can this be picked up at the locale auto store? I know about bowtie overdrive kits. Just trying to save $$$. Thanks

i have been told the 2ndgen camaro/firebird and corvette switch is the one i want.
i need to do this too. i planned on just going to the parts store and asking for a brakelight switch for a 75 T/A with cruise control. there is a vacuum switch for cutting lockup power on acceleration too. i think it's from a chevy truck, but i dont know what to ask for yet. saw a website with the gm part #s once on a search for swap info, but i didn't write them down....d'oh scottk '68ohchickencoupe

Thanks for the reply. I saw the GM number some where but didnt write it down myself. I did a search, but couldnt find any number on this site. I know someone here will have it. I hope there is a aftermarket switch I could pick up at Auto Zone.
