Question

Hi, We are presently doing a frame off on our 67 Camaro SSRS convertible. The car is all factory and we have the orig Muncie shifter assembly for the M20 trans, but want to use the previously installed Hurst shifter. Is there some way to replace the Hurst shifter handle with the Muncie? My husband is talking about cutting and welding- ouch!!! Any suggestions?

I have seen a Muncie shifter handle for Corvettes that is made to mate with a Hurst Comp Plus shifter body. If you search the Corvette parts sites I'm sure you will find it. From there you may be able to get the manufacturers name and see if they will make one for a Camaro.
Here is a site that may help also.
