I am currently running a 9" 373 posi rear in my 68. I am going to convert the front to disk, and would like to do the same for the rear. What can you tell me about this. The front swap is a no brainer, but I am not familiar with the 9" as far as ease of install, requirements, prop valve, etc.
I am not a F**d man. Thanks in advance. Tom

You can use the disc brakes from a Lincoln like I did, or you can use the Explorer disc brakes. There are many after market brake manufacturers that make bolt on kits. The Lincoln brakes are 20 pounds heavier than the drum brakes, so you may want to pass on them. If you want the Explorer brakes let me know.

383, you could also go to the aftermarket. I have Wilwoods on my 9". The install could not have been easier. I also have the old ones if you are interested.
