My 69 has factory air, very little heat is delivered and the levers are very stiff, please make suggestions. I sure do thank whomever is responsible for setting up this site, I learn something every time I visit! Thank you.

Are all the parts there and is your a/c working correctly? If so perhaps the damper door in the heater box is stuck or the cables are in need of lubrication . You also may have a problem with the heater core being stopped up- is it original? The only way to fix either the door or the heater core is to remove the heater box- not a fun task and can be very messy.

I sounds like stuck control cables to me, don't stress them or you will have a broken defroster bar or others. I would start by removing the heater controls and the cables, hang the cables from the ceiling and send lots of rust buster (wd-40?) or what ever you use, through it. They could also be soaked in a coffee can with diesel in it to help free it up. When they start to move freely then follow up with a lubricant spray like triflow or something similar. Something that provides a teflon coating is great.
