Hey all,
I have a '68 camaro that somebody cobbled factory big block air into. I'm in the process of returning to heater only. I'm gonna get a big block heater cover on the firewall side, but need to figure what to do on the passanger side of the firewall. Are heater boxes the same on big and small blocks??

Thanks

Just saw a conversion like this recently. The job was simplified by grafting the passenger side firewall from a donor Nova. The under cowl vent diaphragm was removed and a sheet patch filled the area where the slot was. The Nova heater box was used along with a big block heater core and a little conversion plate from Classic Industries. With a little planning when cutting from the donor car, you can get enough to put back in and make it look factory. The drivers side kick panel area is another story.
