Does anyone have any ideas on how to bypass the heater core? My blower motor doesn't work and I figured it would be easier to just bypass the heater core rather than trying to fix the motor. I drive the car in warm weather only anyway. Do I just cap the intake manifold port? what do I do with the outlet from the water pump?
thanks, Greg |

You can plug both with screw in plugs that replace the current fittings. You can also route a length of heater hose from one fitting to the other. If your core doesn't leak I would leave the hoses attached and not worry about it personally. Even without a fan you can slid the switchs to heat and defrost and it will be better than no defroster at all!!

Try running a wire from the + battery terminal direct to the terminal beside the motor, if it runs its not the motor but between the motor and switch.
