Im not having luck finding the solenoid that steps up the idle when the A/C is turned on. I dont find them in the Resto catalogs either. Does anyone know other years chevys that might have the parts that work or kits available for my 350/255 4V Holley carb?
Thanks for some creative ideas.

GM dealer still has them. Most any Q'jet engine had them.
Holley markets them. For Holley spreadbore, p/n 20-46, CEC brkt for dbl pumpers, p/n 20-9, Anti-dieseling brkt, spreadbores, p/n 20-8, anti-diesel brkt for spreadbores p/n 20-47. Use solenoid 46-74 & locknut 26-57.

Cool Ev, thanks again. You'd think the catalogs would make them availalbe from Holley and Roch. I will contact Holley retailer and my GM dealer.

Ev, local Holley store has new catalog and those numbers are no longer available. Some numbers are close in current stuff, but no bracket that lays along base of carb to hold the solenoid bracket. Both Holley and Edlebrock solenoids would work but need to find or make up a bracket since older 4160's dont have pre-drilled holes for the current brackets either.
I will measure the 2 bolts that hold the front bowl on the drivers side, see if they might line up with the holley or edelbrock univ. brackets. FYI thanks again
