I deleted a module from my computer and I'm not sure if that was a bad thing. I was doing a virus check and deleted lots of things then also deleted the quarantine folder they were stored in. (don't ask me why, cause I don't know) When I start my computer it shows that
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\bridge.dll
can not be found.
Do I need to be concerned? My computer seems to be working as usual.
Thanks for any help,
Doug

Basically you had some spyware and those instructions explain how to remove that registry entry that is causing the error. Currently its an annoyance but its possible that you have other spyware/adware type programs that need to be removed so I recommend you get Spybot Search and Destroy v1.3 and AdAware Freeware, update both and scan/clean with both, these will check your system for other parasites you might still have.

Dayton,
Thanks for the link, I think I can use that info. to fix the problem.
How's the paint job coming?

Brian,
I have been running AdAware and SpyBot. I'm OK with an annoyance temporarly, I still am wondering if I deleted something important or if I just deleted a virus??
Anybody know??
Thanks

There is no 'bridge.dll' in WindowsXP. It's garbage. So whatever you deleted made some leech program mad. Which is a good thing really.

Here's a great house cleaning list all nicely layed out for you with links and all....

Hi Doug,

Paint job coming along.
All new glass arrived yesterday. Sent all the stainless molding out to be reconditioned. Found a little rust in the floor of the truck. Going to repaint the entire trunk area. New weatherstriping should solve the prob.

Hope you solved your computer problem.

Are you going to Cool April Nites in Redding, April 10th? Should be over 2000 cars this year.

Thanks for the help everyone

Dayton,
Yes I plan on going to Kool April Nites. We did the cruise last year as a family and had a lot of fun. One thing I didn't like was a Road Runner smoking his tires in front of me during the cruise. Lots of fun to watch as a spectator but I was worried about the rocks and pebbles on the road coming my way. Didn't notice any damage fortunatley and the roads were actually in good shape. Not sure how I can avoid that, other than watching from the sidelines.
Met Royce from Vacaville and Stevo from North of Redding. A couple of long time TC members. Great guys!!
Sounds like your car is coming along nicely. Looking forward to seeing it when it's done.
