What a difference in the ride of the car from not having them ! if you have a convertible you must make sure you get these ! you will be very happy , seemed to tighten up the car and make it ride allot more stable . just my thoughts

I'm sure you're right! When I bought my 69, it turns out the cocktail shakers were thown out when the sheet metal was replaced. I have since gotten a set to install and I'm sure the ride will improve. It's a shame that these units are trashed.

I just had the trunk floor replaced and, in the process, found that the thick plate that sits under the floor, but on top of the frame rail and serves as the support for the shakers, was paper thin. My fabricator made a set which should greatly improve the structural strength , too.
