Little help for a convertible! I am replacing a cracked hydraulic hose to my cylinders and pump assembly and noticed that the o-rings are in bad shape. There are 2 small o-rings on each cylinder where the hydraulic hoses attach and 2 slightly larger 0-rings on the pump assembly where the hoses attach to it. I checked all the automotive shops for O-rings, they only have the round ones, the kind I am looking for are square O-rings if that makes sense (I can take a picture of them if it would help identify a source). Any idea where I may be able to get some replacements, they were not provided with the new hose kit I got. Thanks, Ken

Try a bearing house. I believe what you are looking for is called a quad-ring. Or you can get them from anyone who specializes in hydraulic seals & fittings. They will just need the O.D. & thickness of the material.

I had them replaced by the local shop that specialized in hydraulics. They told me that you can't really rebuild the cylinders and putting in new o-rings is the only solution. They had so many different rings, he was able to replace them in less than 5 minutes for me.
