Hi guys,

I am a new poster working on a 67 RS/SS convertible.

When I purchased the car the X-brace was missing, (along with a lot of other stuff.) I 've since located an X-brace to install but wanted to know where I can find the fasteners (repo's okay but not preferred) to install it. Thanks for your help.

Welcome to the site, you'll get alot of info here. Rick's First Generation has the bolt set that you need. # RC-470

You can save $ by going to a Lowe's or other similiar place. Lowe's has the same auto hardware as Rick's. Why pay shipping? If originality doesn't matter, any harware store will do. I would use Grade 8 in that case.
