Question

how much does a 12 bolt way?also what would the shipping charges be from texas to anywhere up north?does anyone carry nos gm leaf spring brackets ,the ones that are welded to the rear end,if not who makes quality repo's?

I would have to guess the weight of a complete 12 bolt around 200#`s. I would bet that shipping would be anywhere from $150 to $300. Your best bet is to try and find one locally unless you find a really good deal on one. I believe Rick`s has some quality repro sping perches.

I just shipped mine to Moser...

Completely stripped...67 pounds on UPS scale.

According to Moser, it will weigh in at 200 fully complete with no brakes.

I just shipped a block/rods/pistons total weight was 235lbs from San Diego Ca to Tulsa Ok, Shipping was only $65.38 using Forward Air. They are by far the cheapest shipping I found. This is terminal to terminal, you will need to pick up and drop off at thier station. You can find info at www.forwardair.com

that is an extremely cheap price on shipping. I paid $245 shipping an LT1 motor through FedEx using my employee discount. Of course FedEx is probably the most expensive company to ship through.
