Hello , My Documented 06A RSZ28 has the following info on the ORIGINAL Windshield-
SHADED
SOFT-RAY
SAFETY LOF PLATE
ASI LV
LAMINATED
DOT 15 MA

This is how it appears except the LOF has a Logo around it. Hope this helps.

Jeff there is some discussion of glass at www.camaros.org and also use the 'search' button at the top right corner and type in 'glass' or 'windshield' and you should find alot of discusson on what to look for.

Any of the repro parts houses can get what you need. They basically come from one manufacturer. They know what the etching should be. You need to give them the date you need. Thats all.

Try Auto City Classics,Isanti Mn.phone 763-444-5880/web site is autocity@worldnet.att.net.

I bought my windshield and back glass there, and they were $150 cheaper than Rick's. They know how the markings should look. You can either provide the date code, or you can give them your build date, and they will do it for you. Look at the article on CRG for date decoding. YOu should probably use the code from other glass on the car, if you know it to be original.

By the way, it comes in a large palet box, with the box for the glass well padded inside. YOu have to either ship it to a business, or go pick it up yourself at the terminal. They won't tell you the brand, but it is Pilkington (they bought LOF)
