Question

On my 327 I have a Vent tube on the passanger side of my destributer. I have a Pcv connected and a breather. Should I remove the old vent tube or leave it be.

If you remove it you'll have an exposed hole into the crankcase. The vent tube should go into the base of your air cleaner if I remember correctly so the crankcase isn't exposed to contamination.

The tube was there before holes in the valve covers to vent the crankcase. Your PVC and breather do take it's place but unless you can put a freese plug in the block to close it off I'd leave the tube in place. If your tube doesn't go to the air cleaner base, (I believe some models had a filter box it ran to) be sure it has a breather filter or is plugged so dirt and crud can't get into it...
