Okay I got two sources one says gloss black the other say 30% gloss black. So whats the current judging standard for 67 horn color? Thanks sincerely Steve

I don't know what the current judging standard is, but the original paint on my 67 Firechicken horn appears to be 30% gloss black. LOL

Jerry's book is correct - they were semi-gloss black, not gloss black; agrees with the NCRS judging standard too. [img]graemlins/thumbsup.gif[/img]

Yup - Delco painted them all the same, regardless of which GM car they went on.
