I've got a running 350 engine and I can't figure out what the intake manifold is and who makes it. It seems to be of pretty high quality aluminum, it has the firing order cast between the thermostat and the carb, and it has the words
Team G cast between the carb and distributor. It has the look of a high rise intake and it fits the quadrajet. Is it any good? How old is it? Thanks. Todd

It's a Holly\Weiand intake. Any numbers on it?

i believe what you are describing is a weiand #7525, same as the one in the pic. pretty sure thats the only team g with a pattern that accepts a quadrajet, and i'm sure its the only one with the provision for an egr.
i have one in the shop actually, i think its a real good intake. it worked well for me, and my cousin used one on his vette sucessfully. its a good intake for any combo that would work well with a fairly mild single plane design, imo. its also real nice on a later model car, since you can still leave the emissions BS intact with it. |

That's it! Thanks guys. It looks really good and the motor runs really nice. It looks to be a lot nicer than the Edelbrocks I'm used to. I thought single plane manifolds weren't supposed to be that great for street cars. That isn't what I'm finding with this one. Great response off of the line. Is this what you guy have found? T

yep, its a good "street" single plane, imo. i used the one i have on my mild 350 that came with the car, and the 406 that is in it now. the 350 was basically a stocker, so it made for a slightly soggy bottom end compared to the factory dual plane, but was great in the 406 with the old heads i had (sr torquers). my cousin had it on a slightly warmed over 350, and his 406 in a 79 vette, and it worked great. it is a real good intake for certain applications for sure. thats why i still have mine
