Question

My computers been hacked someone has been looking at everything Ive done. I was using Norton anti virus, but now I've installed Sygates personal firewall, but what else can I do? How can I check if I have a spyprogram or what else on there? What can I do to stop this again? I was sent a copy of all my Ebay purchases. I tried to trace the emails but they used a forwarded address so its a dead end. How can I clean any spy programs without loosing all my other stuff?
Thanks,
Mike

Looks like they got ahold of a 'referrer' cookie and captured the information from the last time you logged onto ripoff-bay.

As DJD stated, read the ten commandments.......if not e-mail me and I'll direct you to some other things that work as well.

I'm by no means a computer expert, but I would look in the program files and delete anything that you didn't install yourself.
Also you should delete any auto dialers etc.
If you are familiar with your system you should be able to delete anything you do not recognize.
Installing the firewall software was the best defense against this sort of thing and I would reccomend all users do this.... Been there and done that.

Another great free tool is Ad-aware 6.0. It scans for "problem" programs and will remove them from your system and registry.
