What do correct heater hoses for a '69 look like? I can't seem to find them in my parts magazines. I assume they are solid black. Is there and striping or GM markings on correct hoses?

They are solid black with 2 or 3 ribs running the length of them. Don't beleive they have any writing on them. The smooth ones with the GM and the square printed on them in white are not correct, I think they are from later model cars.

My 42,000 mile 06A RSZ28 original heater hoses have 5 grooves on them, all black and NO GM ink logo,s.
The smaller 5/8 hose has the grooves quite deep, but the 3/4 hose has much shallower grooves.
Most of the repo,s i have seen have raised type ribs, but are very close to the grooved original hoses.
Hope this helps.

rsz is correct on the differences between original and reproduction hoses. The ones that mr69 linked are the reproduction hoses, most commonly found on restored cars.

Note there was a change in the hose types around the end of November 1968. The part numbers of the hoses changed as did the appearance of the ribs or grooves.
