I'm in the process of redoing my '69 Camaro dash pad. The vinyl pad is in perfect shape but was lifting from the plastic back shell and the shell is warped along some of the edges. I partially peeled bach the vinyl cover and using a heat gun I straightened the plastic backing. Here is my question. What should I use to stick the vinyl cover to the plastic back shell? Should trim adhesive work or is there something better? Thanks.

Dave, Do a search on this subject in interiors...I used 2 part 5 min epoxy, not perfect, but I hear the repro w/ac dashpads aren't that great (Can anyone chime in on this?). Anyway once glued, I got some scrap wood trim and clamped it until dry... Hope this helps...good luck...Zuma
