Does anybody have a 67 RS with original door edge guards? I'm trying to find out if the guards go all the way to the bottom of the door, or are trimmed off to stop at the top of the RS molding. Right now, I have them going all the way down and behind the RS trim. They move the trim away from the body, and it doesn't look right. The guards that I have are reproductions. I'm pretty sure that originals would move the trim out even more due to their method of attachment (seperate clips).
