Did all Yenko 1969 Camaros originate from the Norwood plant, or were some built in LosAngeles? I was at a local car show today and someone there had what he claimed was a Yenko car but the cowl trim plate tag showed that the car was built in LA. Is this possible? It was a nice car, Fathom green. I was under the impression that all 69 Yenkos came from Norwood.

Thanks clill, I was pretty sure they didn't make any LA cars, I was told last year at the same show by someone who knows him that the car was a clone, and he is trying to pass it off as genuine. It's a very nice car, and I'm sure he has a lot of time and money invested, but it kind of ticks me off when people try to represent their cars as something they are not. It's really not fair to those who have the real deal.

You can also look on the post just above this one. There is a link to Yenko.net and the list of Yenko vins. You can print it out and ask him next time you see him where his is on the list.

Thanks, excellent idea, although I probably won't see the car until next years show as he is from out of state.
