I have seen a few COPO's without power steering, would a ZL-1 have power steering? Could a ZL-1 have headers?

At least one ZL1 was built with power steering; it was optional. Headers were not.

Thanks, so no ZL-1 came from even the dealership with headers.

Well who knows.

Chevrolet issued a CDSIB dated 11-23-67 strongly advising service personnel against modifications "...which can affect vehicle emissions adversely."
