I doubt if it is more than just a tribute car (clone). The vin # is a litle late in the production year for a Yenko. Check out the known vins: 69 Yenko vins

Obviously not a real Yenko. Gee, you'd think for 50K, you would at least get a car with roof rail seals that aren't falling out......

This ebay car does not look like a real Yenko but it was possible to have AC in a Yenko Camaro. Although I have not heard of any 69 Yenkos with AC there were 1968 Yenko Camaros with AC. In 1967 and 1968 Yenko sold 427 410hp Auto trans Camaros. I don't know of any 1967 Yenkos found with AC but at least one 1968 Yenko Camaro was sold with AC.

In 67 and 68, all Yenkos had dealer installed 427s. Some started as small block SS and some were L78. As A/C was not available with L78, the only way to get an A/C Yenko was to start with an A/C SS car. (could be SS350 or SS396 -L34 or L35.)

As all 69 Yenkos were COPO cars, none had factory A/C.

My 69 Yenko Tribute car started as a s/b with A/C, so I adapted the b/b A/C parts to work. Primary issues were 1. no bosses on the 840 heads for the lower rear compressor bracket. 2. no deep groove pulleys available for 3 groove crank pulley and 2 groove power steering pulley.

I have been doing research on the 1967 Yenko Camaros and looking at original Yenko records that show at least 9 were sold as 410 HP "Turbo Hydra-matic" Camaros. Most of them were 450 HP 4-speed cars. I was looking to see if the Yenko documents show anything about ordering AC but I don't see it mentioned in the 1967 ad.
One odd wording I notice is the Yenko ad states quote "YENKO SUPER CAMARO 410, shift-for-yourself turbostick". I thought this is funny because today you see some cars advertise a "auto/manual" transmission that you can shift manually or automatic mode.

Here's a picture from SuperCar Reunion 5 of a known '68 Yenko Camaro with a/c...

http://www.yenko.net/reunion/Be02.jpg

As for the '69s, we have some original internal Chevrolet documents specifically stating which options were unavailable on the '69 COPO 427 cars, and a/c is on the list. But, I suppose it could have been dealer installed had the customer wanted to pay for it...

Any chance this car could be a Douglass Yenko with AC added? Did Douglass order any cars with white interior and if so did Yenko provide the "SYC" headrests or are those repos? It looks like the Douglass cars don't fall in this VIN range though.

But it has the AC dash pad and there are vents in the dash for AC. So that car must have had AC at some time.
