Sorry to hear what you posted but I couldn't let the post stand. I have kept a copy and incourage you to contact Al ( admin@camaros.net) to see if there is any corallation to a previous problem with a NJ seller as well as if you have issue with what you posted being removed.

Now from me as a fellow Camaro lover and car guy!! WTF are you thinking sending that much cash through the mail? The guy you accuse could be totally innocent and any one of a dozen hands could have taken the cash before it got to the seller... Sorry but I am having a hard time thinking anyone would fall for "it has to be a cash deposit" scam... I also have to ask why you haven't posted this on www.rabbitstoys.com (your own site, right?)

Believe I covered all my tracks,have witness's,receipts and all ifo to take this MF to court.I don't RIP people off,in fact I've been in business in contsruction since 1978 and do things on a Hand shake!! Thats why when ***Edited by admin*** did this to me it really took me back!! I've not EVER been takin advantage like this in my whole life!! I wanted to post this here to protect YOU guys!! I bought a 1969 Camaro with a ZL1 Traco motor in it,wired the money,wired more money and eventually the guy delivered upon my father making the last paymnt when this guy was KIND enough to deliver the car personally for me,so there are some REAL GOOD HONEST people out there! This guy would NOT let me wire money or give him a Bank Check because of the IRS seeing the money,just wanted cash,so I sent him cash.Theres way more to this story,found out this is NOT the first time he did this!!! By the way the guy I bought the 69 Camaro from last year from PA,well it's a real small world sometimes,seems he knows this persons antics already,but I called him after the fact.This WILL BE GOING TO COURT,I talked to several attorneys in NJ already,looks like I have a great case!!! I just posting this here because I don't like DISHONEST people,the Good People always end up paying for it!!!! Thanks Dan

What the hell is wrong with you? The guy refused common safe methods of payment!! Cash is for placing in the other persons hand, not making a transaction, putting it in an envelope or box and then letting folks pass it around until it gets to the guy you want to have it!!

You may have enough to go to court but I don't have any way to know what you say is the truth. We do not allow posts like this because of just that. It has nothing to do with your integrety it's a policy to protect folks from using this site as a means to their bad ends.

I still want to know why you have only chosen to "protect" the folks here and not the folks that frequent the site you started or the supercar site where you frequent for that matter.

You are right, there is more to the story, you are not telling all and nobody gets to here from the other guy!! This is not a court but you can't hang a guy before he has a trial!! I understand you are upset and under how emotion can over power rational thinking.

Please, if you want to use this site as a conduit to inform others of these doings contact Al, provide him all the facts and let him establish what should be said...

You're not going to take this very well but I have never met you and you are ranting about someone you are mad at! Do you have the email address for this fellow you are having a problem with? Sorry to hear about the deal but it's a tough call to prove he really ripped you off at this point. Now, I tend to think he did just from the way you worded the original posting so let me know the address (admin@camaros.net) and I'll check on camaros.net and chevelles.com to see if he is using either of these sites for posting ads. We certainly do not wish others to have similar issues.

I apologize but our site rules pretty much preclude posting warnings such as this was. By specifically mentioning names and addresses we are in the grey zone of liability for allowing the post to stay in a public forum should this whole thing get messy. It's happened in the past whereby the fellow who's name was used on our site got a lawyer and decided to include us in the action.
I'm not trying to be difficult on this issue, it's just something that we had to do to keep our website from getting into difficulties concerning a transaction which is out of our control.
We have taken some liberties in posting information and names if the deal originated through our site and after we have had emails with both sides.

We would like to keep others from being potential victims so if we can keep the facts in line and not post specific names and addresses that would be ok. The guys here can read between the lines and find out more about this guy. Heck, even calling him Fat Ralphy sounds ok from this end.

There is also an issue which you need to be cautious of if this does go to the courts and it comes out that you have been posting what they will call 'slanderous' information all over the internet. Just advice from someone who's seen this stuff happen, not trying to tell you how to manage this on other sites.

Again, sorry to hear of the ripoff. $6000.00 was a lot of cash to put in an envelope.

Let us try and help in the manner we can and not get into a big back and forth on this. You've got enough grief as it is.

Thanks Al,Remember it's only slanderous if you have nothing to back it up,but again I do, thats what makes me want a Judge to hear the facts and see the docs and listen to the witnesses.If Fat Ralph was smart he would just refund my deposit,but I guess he's not smart.Remember anyone one with the first name Ralph and last name starts with a C, and they live in the southern most part of NJ,selling muscle cars and Pro street cars,WATCH OUT!!!
