Dave,

That sounds like a blast. I wish I could make out there in my '68.

Post some pics when you get a chance.

Looks like a great turnout!

What kind of car was the fuel injection installed in? It was the blue car. Looks pretty cool.

Is that your Z11 in the first few pics Dave? Pretty sharp.

Kel the fuel injected motor belongs to the GT-40 kit car. This was only a VERY small fraction of the cars that showed up. There were Panteras, Camaros, chevelles,Novas,
Fords, Mopars, And GM products galore, streetrods of all makes and years , and even an old Dodge Altered Wheelbase car cruzin up and down the street.

Sounds like a great time Dave.

Bill, I like the look of your bumper guards. I always thought about adding those.

Very nice car. I also like the stripe. Part of me wishes I did that one rather than the bumble bee stripe that I went with. Still like mine though too.

Thanks Dave.

It came out really good.

I should have the interior done within the next week or so. Just got the headliner done last Thursday.

I entered the car in a local show on Saturday. They had a project class and since my interior is gutted, I entered it in that class. Couldn't believe it but I won my class. It was a pretty fun time. We had five members there and we all won our classes. Clean sweep.

Maybe I can make it out there one day for one of your cruise nights (with or without the car).

Thanks Kel I seen your car as very nice as well. Dave and I had a great time cruzin and socializing. The bumper guards you speak of ar original, both front and rear. The car is in the condition we purchased it is. The second owner was a very famous local racer named Johnny Loper and in talking with him he tells me everything on the car was as original as he did nothing except store the car. The third owner was a friend of Mr Loper's and he did nothing but store this car in his carport when my wife found it there and we asked to purchase it. when he said it was for sale, well, as they say, the rest is history! haha. Glad ya liked it though.
