Default Project update, LS1 69 Camaro....

It has been a while since I posted. Have been working my fingers raw trying to get this car finished in time to drive it to Goodguys in Columbuse, Ohio from Florida.

Down to minor details at this time and trying to run some miles up on it before we roll.

Updated my website here:

Thanks!!!!!!!!

The color is 1985/86 Renault Aliance mica metallic red with Cadillac black cherry stripes.

Rims are 17x9 front 18x10 rear with Goodyear EMT tires right from a 2004 Corvette.

Very nice restoration. Very clean look with great attention to detail. One question, where's the windshield wiper motor?

Gorgeous Car! BTW, where did you mount your master cylinder? That shaved firewall is the bomb! I'm building a 69 with 2000 LS1/700R4 as well. Hope it turns out half as nice as yours! Also, do you think I need to convert to dual fuel lines, or will the single setup work ok? Thanks!

Hey Chris,

Nice car! I'm in Tallahassee...where are you?

Hopefully you'll be going through here for Power Tour so I can check it out...

THanks guys. The windshield wiper motor is a 1985 VW and is in the cowl wired into the column mount GM switch. The brakes are hidden in the driver cowl on a homemade relocation system. The dual fuel lines are only because I decided to run the 97 Vette rails and lift plastic fuel lines from a 1996 Caprice all the way to the 1996 Caprice plastic tank a squeezed in the rear. This saved me a BUNDLE by being able to use OEM parts and a direct drop in high output Walbro pump. My total investment in the fuel system is just under $350 counting the Walbro pump and new rails from GM.

The tank and lines were on a donor car I parted out to get the power windows and many other things going in this car.

Getting the windows tinted today, the center caps for the rims next week, still trying to flog out the cruise control as it won't respond, and a couple of other last minute details before we drive it to Ohio in July.

I will be taking my 69 Vette aka Killer to the Power Tour.

My number 904-502-7026 (cell) to catch you with us in Tallahassee if you like.
