I bought a small wire feed welder a few month ago and now I am ready to begin to learn how to use it. I also have a 4 1/2" grinder and a pedistol grinder.
I need metal cutting tools and I'm not sure what to buy first. My first thought was to get a 14" cut off saw, 15 amp probely the DeWalt 871. My question is this. Is this the right choice for a first metal shop tool or would I be better off with some kind of band saw? I just want to fab up some simple things for my shop (like that fancy engine/trans stand that paulm built )
