I also saw it and thought it was a good movie. I left the theatre wishing that it was longer!

Because of my work schedule I can go to the late night movies on weekdays and beat all the crowds And actually, I think I like the "new" Tom Cruise a whole lot better...I never used to like him. How in the world he could ever dump Nichole Kiddman though is beyond me
"War of the Worlds" was actually required reading material when I was in high school. I thought they did an excellent job in sticking with the original story line but with a more modern touch.

LB has already booked Saturday as the movie day. Typical Dad and son day,lunch at his favorite place, SKYLINE CHILI and War of the Worlds.
