I hope someone here can help me. I have Windows XP and right now I can surf any website on the internet except ebay. Every time I click on anything to do with ebay, it looks like the page is opening only I get a place called "Incredifind.com" that looks like a search engine. This happens with ebay only. The other day I got some sort of popup on my computer about a Parasite and it then disappeared. My sons computer works just fine with ebay, but mine doesn't. first i would try clearing your history, deleting the cookies, and deleting the temporary internet files. try that out first, it might do the trick. in internet explorer, just go to tools and then internet options, should be under the general tab.

Do a file search for "hosts" and open the files your system finds with notepad. Look for entries for ebay and if there are any rename the file to hosts.bad to get it out of the loop. If you do find what I described you have been attacked and may have other badware on the pc be it spyware or virus'.

More thank likely your system/browser has been hijacked by some spyware.

AdAware and SpyBot for removal tools and

SpyWare Info has all kinds of infor on dealing with this crap, but it seems as it it's down right now.

I downloaded Spybot and cleaned up everything and it's now working alright. Had me worried though. Thanks alot for the help!!! Bill

Make sure and run both AdAware and Spybot on a weekly basis. Check for updates before running.
