I'm going to be up in the Brainerd Lakes area visiting relatives from around June 29th - July 5th!

I'd love to meet some fellow Team Camaro members up there and talk cars. I won't be bringing my '68 though... a little too long a drive.

Hey John, cool beans [img]graemlins/hurray.gif[/img] there is a huge car show on July 3rd, 7 to 10pm at Mills Body Shop parking lot, between Target and Mills Ford (shush now)
I will be there as will Camaro-69ss Jeff with his orange ss and maybe midlife cruiser with his chevelle but plan on hanging out there for 3 hours anyway.
If I can consider driving 1500 miles to Seattle why not drive your camaro out here? hehe
Looking forward to meeting you there and talk shop.
Maybe that week before we could have a cruise to a burger joint and do some chatting too.

hey Click- is BIR doing that Wednesday night test and tune thing yet? since i hit the 1/8th mile track down here last friday night, i got the need for some REAL speed and want to go twice as far..

hmmm.. i could come up for the July 2 street drags, hang around for the July 3 car show, and fight traffic on July 4 to come home for the family deal down in Roseville... sounds like a plan. traffic should be not too bad coming THIS WAY on July 4th.

Sorry I haven't responded back to my own post in a few days... I've been working like crazy. I'm working with a moving company this summer (gotta pay those tuition bills) and put in 36 hours over the past two days. I'm beat!

You know... I would consider bringing the Camaro, but my parents are going up too and I can't see packing us all up in the Camaro for a vacation! Of course a non OD trans and 3.73 gears wouldn't make for a ton of fun cruising up the highway for 1500 miles!

I'm pumped! Great timing with that show!

don't know if i'll be able to make it up that way- i'd have to take off work, and after this happened, i need to work a few extra hours of OT to pay for parts. sure, the car will be fixed, but the wallet might not be.

Ouch derrik,I just read that. Man your foot in the throttle to much ?
I had a 74 Laguna with a 400 that one day decided to crack the rocker right around the bolt head and rattled like crazy. Luckily I was in town and drove slow home, got a new rocker and it was fine after that, lucky I guess.
If things improve for you, head up anyway for at least the car show, its over at 10pm, you'd be home by 1130pm Boodlefoof is going to be here too.
