Default 302 parts prices?

I am trying to complete my DZ 302. I have correct block, crank, heads, intake, carb. I started making a list of all the other parts I need. Wow, it is a bunch! I can buy most of this stuff from Rick's. Anyone know a better way?
Thanks!

Default Re: 302 parts prices?

If you want the real thing they were only made 36 years ago. Items like distributor, alternator are not reproed. Replacements will work. Replacement pistons are not inexpensive. Just some advice, if you bought engine parts seperately do a lot of work to make sure they all fit. I am going thru this now with heads and intake after the engine was built. Have your machine shop check everything real close. Tapped holes, mating surfaces etc. Just all part of the restoration.
