Hey guys! This is my last hope to get my baby running right again. It's a 1997 3.8 RS WITH 75K miles. Mint condition! Here's what she does. At about 2000 rpms it acts like there's a miss. Engine runs really bad till i give her more gas and get past 2k. Now i thought it was a miss so I changed the coils, plugs (B*tch of a job) and wires. That didn't work. So I took it to the GM dealer (Yeah bend over!) They look at it for 3 hours at $80.00 an hour. The funny part was that they couldn't find what the problem was. Boy was i ****ed! So thinking it might be something in the trans i took it to transmission shop. The owner took it for a ride and said it's not in the trans. that it feels like a miss. Being a nice guy he didn't charge me, and the trans got a clean bill of health. Now I’m stumped. I hope there is some one out there that might have a clue. The only other thing i think it could be is a bad injector. I ran injector cleaner through her and it didn't help. Any ideas guys? If ya help me fix her I’ll buy ya a beer...Hell a case!
