Unhappy sunvisor gravitational problems

I have new (repop) sunvisors, supports, tips, bushings and a new inner mirror bracket cover. However, I am unable to get the visors to stay up near the headliner. Any tips? Help?

I'm having the exact problem with the exact same set up of all new repo stuff. I've tried everything. You can only tighten down the securing screw so tight. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Would roughing up the one sleeve then give the tightening sleeve something to grip? I have the same issue, need to figure something out.

I think it's a very common problem. Don't try tightening the screws too much, they break easily, I found out the hard way.

interesting... I also have new repop everything, with the exception of the visors themselves. Also, being a vert, the peices are different than the coupes. Mine are very very tight, to the point that it was difficult to get the bushings in. This was true with both the original and the repop corner peices.
