Aloha and Mele Kalikimaka or Merry Christmas for those not here in Hawaii.
Have thought long and hard of what has recently happend with myself and my life a 2 Fridays ago. Seems friends can be good friends or so so friends but what happens when that friend is above the good and could be considered as close to family as one could get yet not be. Recently I have had what could be called a oppurnity of a lifetime bestowed to myself and my son Marcel. Being that my 68 is still about 18+ months out from being completed, a very good friend has turned over their 68 Z28 to us to allow us to make it to the monthly curise nights and shows over the next year. Everytime I go to work and see the car and again when I come home, I wonder how something like this could happen to myself. this is the million $ question. I have no answer for that but know that the person behind this will see 10X back in return but thats just his nature. Anyway heres a pic of the car with my two kids taken last Sat at the Soccer Complex here on Oahu. Merry Christmas all and have a safe Holiday Season no matter the location.

Jeff,
Just for the record...When a certain Hawaiian stranger gave me and my wife Lily a hotel room during the All Chevy Event in '03 with no questions asked, and then wonders how one of his close friends would consider lending him a nice Camaro to show for a while....Well, all I have to say is that the certain Hawaiian guy has a heart as big as a pond and class to match! You are always revered as being a seriously nice guy Jeff, and I am grateful to have gotten the chance to meet you. If/when you ever make it back this way, my completed '69 car is yours to drive around if you like (ofcourse I'll be in the trunk the whole time...) Have yourself a Merry Christmas friend!Dan & Lily B

You know, Dan, your post was perfect and sums it up better than anything I could think of.
As a guy I work with says "what comes around comes around" - he has a different approach to wording things than traditional, but sums it up well, as it's from the heart, right where you're from Jeff. To the "friend", your first class attitude and participation do not pass un-noticed, even though you may not desire the light, it shines brightly from within. Thanks.. Al |

Merry Christmas Jeff!
A long time ago you checked out a ragtop camaro for me in Hawaii and I really appreciate it! When you bless others you are blessed in return! Kind of "what comes around goes around" like Al said.
