Default trying to research a fact. crossram???

Hello guys. I was on a few months ago with a crossram that I bought from a junk yard for $100.00. Maybe you remember; anyway, I have since becomed pretty interested in researching the intake. I have talked to mr. gwinn about the intake. sent some rough photos and a discription. It has not been authenticated as of yet, but mr. gwinn thinks that it might end up being a ta used intake. I will be getting it authenticated in the near future, but there are a few things about this intake that make it stand out that maybe some one here can shed some light on.
1. There is no casting date on the lower intake ;never was (no it's not a remake)
2. I know that there are areas that had some grinding done to help fit , but there is an area that looks like it had material added on one of the fuel break-up veins. This is one of the last areas that was improved on twards the end of r&d on the intakes as I have read. It looks like the area was tigged and then cleaned up with a grinder, but was done very nicely.
3. There is an odd stamp on the lower intake;right above and centered on the casting # . the stamping is small and kinda faint so I can't get it to show up in a pic (with my camera anyway). the stamping reads "G IMP W" . the imp being circled.
I still have to send the intake off to have it repaired, but I am worried that if the intake is something unique that that will be lost in the restoration.
I have no use for the intake myself. I do plan on selling it to some-one that does, but I would rather see what kind of history the intake holds first.( I am a history and trans-am buff) I do know that there haven't been any real ones on ebay in a while. Mostly the remakes. can some of you guys help me out or shed some light on my intake?? Thanks, Johnny
