For the past three (3) days I've been bombarded with junk e-mail and some from SN's I know, and some from web site's.

All are one of three (3) .zip files. I'm always cautious and getting ninety (90) one day, and thirty-seven (37) this morning I know isn't right.

Doug.... any email that comes with an attachment is a potential VIRUS! And if not a virus, it's a plant to place something on your computer to either spy on you or take over different aspects of your machine.

Unless the email is from someone you absolutely know and you have requested that they send you something, delete it. Even that isn't 100% safe, but what can ya do?

Doug,
Never open a .zip file from an unsolicited or unknown source. A zip file is the easiest way to load malicious logic onto your computer.

This is funny:

What exactly is an illegal web site? And what kind of maroon would believe the FBI questions people via email?

Don't feel alone. I've had over 250 of those emails. Luckily my server quarentines those messages. Make sure you have good protection.
