I have a '69 Camaro RS/SS with a 396/325 hp. It has a Quadrajet carb, as it should. Can I install a Holley carb and retain the original fuel line to the filter/return set up on the front of the motor? Will this configuration work OK?

I went the other way from a Holley Spread bore carb back to the Q-Jet, If you pick up the right Holley carb every thing should line up. Whoever put the Holley on my car got the right unit, the linkages and fuel line matched perfect. I didn't like the Holley, It always seemed to load up in city driving and sucked the juice right through on the highway. The Q-jet works fine, for normal cruising.

Thanks for your help. Eventually, I do want to go back to the complete Q-Jet set up.
