Looks great, Jim. I like how you explained power and wattage.

I still like to use water analogy to explain voltage and current flow, (especially for current). I think it helps get novices started. Voltage is water pressure, a switch acts like a water valve, smaller wires restrict current like a small hose would, etc.

When I drew up my wiring diagrams and started with the circuit descriptions and introductions, those were the hard parts. You have your work cut out. We're all here to help whenever we can!

Teaching people how read Electrical Diagrams is interesting in which circuits are conventionally read from positive to negative but when you inform them that current flows from negative to positive it seems to blow their fuse - I always save that for last - LOL
