I'd say no, it has a 6 cylinder vin. No 6 cylinder SS cars in Camaros. (some early Novas, and possibly a few others but not in a '68 Camaro!)

Here's the decode. Not a lot of info on the 68 tags. But, as the others said, definitely not an SS with a 6 cyl VIN.
1 = Chevrolet 2 = Camaro 3 = 6-cylinder engine 37 = coupe body 8 = 1968 model year N = Norwood, OH assembly plant 457118 = vehicle serial number sequence Decode for body number: 157705 06C = Built the Third week of June. 68-12437 = Coupe. NOR = Built in Norwood Ohio. 717 = Standard Blue Bucket Seats. U-U = Car Color is LeMans Blue
