But WOW!!! What a find...
Are the air vents in the fenders from Chevrolet?

Wow, what a find. And green seems to be the new color to have after BJ this year!

That is a pretty clean car, with a lot of potential. There are a few "issues" first off it's not an SS, it appears to be an RS. The fender mod doesn't do it for me and why would anyone do that to a "1,900" mile original.

There is no way on earth that is a true 1900 mile survivor. Look at the inner fenders.

I don't have a problem with the car, I do have a problem with the auction details and I hope nobody falls for it.

It certainly looks like a true survivor RS to me.

I wonder how many thousands of dollars the hack job on the fenders is going to hurt it.

It looks like a survivor to me too! Just can't figure why someone would do that to those fenders.

The fenders could be easily replaced or reapaired. It is a nice clean car, but I don't buy the 1900 miles. Look at the inner fenders, the radiator support, the alternator bracket, etc... Hard to tell from the pictures, but looks to be repainted as well. In either case it's a nice car. Why have SS emblems on the 1/4 panel? It's not an SS car. They were not "moved" that were "added". To me I don't see an original owner of a 1900 mile car doing those things. I would be suspecious of the seller in this case. Things don;t seem to add up to me.

Water pump paint looks glossier than the rest of the engine paint. Damn nice car!

I'm not a fan of 2nd Gen but it is a really nice car. I'd be very suspicious of the details though.

As far as water pump being diff color, it may only have 1900 miles but is still 36 years old. May have had some stuff replaced. Speaking of which, I hope whoever buys that car gets some new tires before hitting the road. They may look nice but 36 year old bias plys may not last long barreling down the highway!
