Default Should the new SS Camaro be Supercharged?

This is a question that has bothered me for years. I am 22 years of age, and own a 95' LT1 Camaro, and absolutely love it. I know my history with the battle of Mustang's and Camaro's, and it seems the only time its a good race is when Im in fight with a Cobra, sometimes one's that are several years newer than my car (Stock for Stock). Now that GM has the ball rolling on this 5th Gen, they had better do it right. 400 hp is just fine for the Z28 Model, but I don't think Ram Air is a volitile option now for the SS. (A K&N Intake gets my Lt1 17 Dynoed Hp/22 Tq.) If this new Camaro has all the awesome new handling characteristics and technology of newer cars, especially ones coming out near 2010, shouldn't they go ahead and give the top of the line, showcase SS a supercharger? I know the new Vette motor is 500hp, but im sick of people saying, "that Camaro is only worth that cause its got the vette motor".
True, my Lt1 was at first a Vette motor in 92". But this makes people think that a Camaro is just a cheap shell with a "Vette Motor", and is one of the reason's for doomed sales. My Z28 is comfortable, it rides good and I love they way it feels. The build quality wasn't the best, so this is GM's chance to capitalize on all their mistakes. And if there gonna whoop'em big, they gotta build'em big. Supercharge the SS, and they will fly off the showroom floor.
