yes, do show the 68 please!
by the way, what added 83 #'s on the Z28 package? was that a sum of all parts included w/rpo Z28, or in addition to the parts/options listed above?

I think that includes the added weight of the mandatory power disc brakes, 12-bolt axle and multi-leaf springs, 3-row radiator and fan/clutch, dual exhaust system, Muncie 4-speed, and larger wheels and tires (all of which are additional over the weight of the base V-8 coupe).

I don't have the '67-'68 weights, but they're in the free restoration package you can get from Chevrolet at (800) 222-1020; I just have the '69 info.

Thank you. This is a great starting point (67 is close enough for me) on figuring out how much the modifications I've made have altered the weight of hte car.

The 'vert is heavier than the coupe/hardtop mainly because of all the extra stiffening and reinforcement that the body needs without the bracing effect of the roof. But even with all the extra bracing, the 'vert bodies lack the torsional rigidity of coupes/hardtops, which becomes far more noticeable when adding a lot more hp and torque than stock.

The cocktail shakers are about 25lbs/ea (x4) and the convert top frame is quite heavy also.
