Default rusty bondo quarters!!

Hello well I just recently got my first camaro! Its a plain 67 camaro that I intend to build as a rs clone. I aquired the car for a price of 2500 which seemed good for a solid roller with what seemed to be decent body but after inspecting closer I found a few problems. The back quarters are FULL of bondo which i figured, but the real problem lays about 4 in. up from the bottom corner of both back side windows its rusted through and was covered with fiberglass and bondo. My question is, if i buy the full quarter replacement panels will they go up high enough to cut this problem out or is it gonna be a patch problem after the new quarters are installed? Also the panel below the back window will need to be replaced, are goodmark panels junk?? I have new front fenders that came on the car but when you tap on them they sound like "tin" they sound thin, should I junk them? And lastly the rain gutter trim on both sides is rusty is there any repair pieces for that? Im in the process of stripping the car down and bought som PPG DP40 for a first coat of primer, can someone help point me in the right direction???? Thanks!!

full quarters will solve the high areas your talking about. Repop fenders and all new body panels from the aftermarket are thinner. You can spray some under coating on the back side and build it up a bit to deaden that tinny sound Good mark panels are fine. How bad is the rain gutter? Last yr I helped replace almost every panel on a 67 with aftermarket parts. They might not all be perfect but they are doable with some work.

The gutter on the passenger side is kinda bad. Its rusted on the top corner under the gutter and its got blisters on the piece the runs down the side of the windshield. the drivers side is in way better shape, but they are also both rusted aroung the back side windows like I mentioned earlier where the new quarters will go.
