Default Early 70's Camaro - worth a closer look?

I do not know much of anything on the 2nd generation Camaros. That said, I was at a farm house dropping some stuff off a month or so ago. There was a 2nd gen camaro sitting outside the house by a shed. Did not appear to have a motor in it.

Anyway, there were Z-28 emblems on the grille and on the front fenders. The body appeared to be in really good shape (no rust) with the exception of missing headlights and a few other little pieces. It also had the split bumpers in the front. It has a hood scoop on it which leads me to believe that it may have been an old racecar.

This is all of the information that I am 100% certain of. I did not look inside or under the car so I cannot give specifics there, nor did I see a trim tag or VIN.

Would this be worth a closer look and, if so, what could I look for? Thanks all.
