Ok, here goes. The previous owner welded in a new 1/4 pannel, however Im left with his "plan" for fixing the rocker skin to 1/4 to outer wheel well a mystery. I have done a search on here and come up with some pictures of what a finished one should look like (The rocker skin having two tabs that bend over and attach to the outer well). The previous ownder simply cut off the very end of the rocker skin, so there are no tabs left, and I cant compare it to the other side, because thats been hacked off as well. Please look at the pictures I've attached a link to. The problem is that I dont know what a correct rocker TO 1/4 TO wheel well is supposed to look like. There are numerous compound curves, and for the life of me I cant figure out how the rocker "flows" into the 1/4 (specifically the 'groove' for the wheel well moulding) and how it attaches to the outer wheel well. Sorry for the long post, but Im up a creek. Anyone with pictures that clearly show this area? or can anyone take some close-ups? Main thing is how it transitions, because I dont want to do all the work to then find out later that the wheel well mouldings dont fit right. (This is an RS, since the mouldings are different)

What is your email. I have two pics of my pass side without the inner and outer installed. It shows the area you are looking for, I hope.

Thanks Baz67, my email is JAF31A@yahoo.com and hopefully the pictures will make it more clear for me.

Thanks Jonesy. I hate to say it, but I already snatched that picture from you . I actually found your picture on your web page, printed it out and held it up to my rocker. Its what clued me in to what had been cut off, and that there are supposed to be tabs there. The picture helped a lot, but maybe you can clear it up for me. Is the bend of the rocker, from the side of the car to where the tabs are, is that bend a straight 90* bend or is it more of a gentle bend? The problem I have is that the quarter that was welded on curves almost "before" the rocker looks like it should. I dont think I made any sense just then.... Im just not sure how the rocker bends inward to match up with the quarter and wheel well bead. Heck, maybe the quarter is jacked up.
Thank you for taking the time to post the picture, it has already been a big help.

I am going to say it is a 90 degree bend.

OK, can someone take a couple of pictures for me or maybe be a little bit more clear as to the exact shape of the bends and how the rocker and quarter align to one another.
Thanks guys.

JHunter you have mail.
I found a couple of pictures from my teardown that shown the connection of the rocker to the outer wheel well. Its pretty much a tight radius 90 bend.
