Okay, I might have found a radiator, but it will need to be recored. What type of core are most using to closely duplicate the original type? Does it come with the pieces of metal on the top and bottom of it, or will I need to find those off a radiator that has the proper core thickness? Also, what do most places charge to provide the new core and install it? Any good shops in the Western Kentucky, Southern Indiana, or Nashville Tennessee area? Thanks.

I had my original Harrison 4-core recored (say that fast three times). It turned out nice. Not exactly like the original core but really really close. A local radiator shop did the work for me and it was around $300. Good luck!

My local rad shop could not get the right looking core. Bought a close looking on of ebay from tamraz ($180ish )and had them swap the tanks and mounting brackets, $50.

Cheaper than $600+ from the resto place.

So you bought the entire radiator from Tamraz and had the tanks swapped?

Yup. bought one of these and had my original manual tanks removed from bad core and put on the new core after new tanks were removed. Came out fine. Of course there is a little difference in top and bottom rails, but it is very close in appearance. My SS350 uses the same rad as a Z/28, so it was worth it for me. I still need to do this procedure for my auto rad in my other car.
