The AIM is probably the best guide. MacNeish's book is great for info.

As far as a "how-to" resto book, can't really make any suggestion.

The one by Jason Scott covers a lot of info. $29.95

Also, the one by Ron Sessions is good but it include 67-81 camaros. $18.95

There are several resto books that I think are great reading for general info, but I have never seen one I considered to be a real instruction manual. When I started out, I just broused through them at my local "Library" AKA Barnes and Noble.

Don't buy the 'Camaro Restoration Guide, 1967-1969' by Jason Scott. How this thing got published is amazing. You could learn more in one hour on this sight than reading that book.

I have a copy of that book, it was a gift. What's wrong with it?

To each his own, but that book doesn't show how to "restore" anything. It has diagrams straight from the factory AIM book (gee thanks), but nowhere in the book does it show how to replace a headliner, rebuild your brake system, R&R the suspension, restore trim, glass R&R, carpet, upholstery, paint, body, clean a fuel tank, A/C, electrical (a few schematics)..nothing or at least lillte that has to do with actual "Camaro Restoration".

My opinion.

The Camaro Owner's Handbook by Ron Sessions is one of the better ones I've found.
